Okay, soooo...
It's come to the attention of the original creators of the site (being me and puma...) that this was rather badly thought out ^^; while there have been fun times here, the game doesn't really encourage return playing or any kind of plot... despite our best attempts.
However, I do have an announcement! As of this January, Puma, Drow, Khrys and I have created a studio, and one of our projects is a new, better site called Zephyr.
Zephyr is a roleplaying site, much like the (pretty much failed ^^;) circle of the moon. The difference? EFFORT and MONEY. No, I don't mean we bought some fancy forum software- I mean there is in-game cash.
When you join the game, you can create a character- one the seven designated races- and they are essentially nekkid. You can then run off to the in-game store and fill your inventory with default 0$ crap, such as basic clothing and sticks, so you can go RP with your friends and beat the crap out of innocent field mice to the best of your roleplaying skills.
EACH RP POST EARNS YOU CASH! (in game cash. I'm not paying you to play.) You get a set rate of points for posting, + a much smaller amount per letter to encourage longer posts! This money can be spent on better equipment for your character to use in game, and possibly pets or dwellings.
There are also jobs that you can get (come here once every X hours and get paid) depending on your total RP post count.
And when you upgrade to better equipment, you can sell your crap to other users (shop buys stuff for like 20% xD RIPOFF) using the trade commands and a market forum. Or, if you're going out of town, shove all your money in the bank and earn 2% interest per day.
It's still under development, but because it's a forum and involves a lot less images than some of our other projects, it's easier for me to do (laptop's in the shop until further notice so my graphics access is very limited) and less time consuming overall, so I predict it'll be the next Elaeon site to launch.
HOWEVER! Seeing as most of you were active on this site, we'll invite you for the beta! Check out
www.zephyrrpg.co.cc to sign up before the official opening. As for staff positions, anyone who betas has a 70% chance of being a mod, depending on their RP skills and activity.
